What is it?

The Python Package Index (PyPI) is a repository of software for the Python programming language. PyPI helps you find and install software developed and shared by the Python community. Package authors use PyPI to distribute their software. Rubrik maintains rbkcli (and others) package in PyPI repository.

How to use it?

First you need to install pip in your box. pip is the package installer for Python. You can use pip to install packages from the Python Package Index and other indexes. In order to install pip in your Linux box (Ubuntu/Mint) run the following command:

$ apt-get install python-pip

How do I get rbkcli with it?

Once pip is installed you can simply run:

$ pip install rbkcli
