Assign SLA

Now that you have created the SLA Domain, it's time to assign it to the unprotected Oracle host and ensure it's protected.

To get started, head back to Inventory > All> Oracle Databases.

Access Oracle Databases

Select ora12c-dev and click MANAGE PROTECTION. Select Demo-Oracle-Host2 SLA domain from the list, click NEXT, and lastly, click ASSIGN.

NOTE: You have protected the host. All the databases (once created) under the host will be automatically protected by the same SLA policy. You can assign different SLA policies for each of the databases if the SLA requirements are different.
